MOTIVATION AND TEAM BUILDING
SCRUM is a system of management that allows you to do TWICE THE WORK IN HALF THE TIME. This is accomplished through highly structured and disciplined time management strategies.
Impediments to progress are removed, so the velocity of progress greatly increases. I like to describe SCRUM as being
the difference between CITY DRIVING (where you have speed limits, highway cops and you have to stop at every red light), and driving on the AUTOBAHN in Germany (where there is no speed limit, no red lights and no cops). SCRUM was originally designed for IT work. But I have adapted SCRUM principles to be used to GREATLY INCREASE THE WORK FLOW in businesses, educational programs, sports organizations and personal endeavors.
The building of a TEAM CULTURE in your business is intrinsic to success, growth and scaling. Without a cohesive, trustworthy team focusing their efforts in one direction, no business can function at a truly optimal level. I usually spend 2-4 weeks getting to know your business, your staff, the interpersonal dynamics between people, and the goals of the business. Once this is all clear to me, we create (stated and private) team cultural goals. Once these goals are clear, we implement the necessary strategies to build the team culture we created. The entire process usually takes about 3 months. Once the team culture is created, it is relatively easy to maintain, and I usually don't have to go back to the company. But many companies want me to spend a day or two every month, just to keep the team culture focused and working as it should. Work place coaching is a large part of maintaining the positive energy team culture, that we initially built. Please do not contact me if you are looking for a quick, easy, cheap fix to your issues. Building a team culture usually takes a few months, and always requires a serious commitment to change management.
